So, I have been waiting a bit over a week now, and I'm really worried that I will get turned down; the reason for this is that I have a tattoo on my wrist (that can be consealed with a watch or whatever) and the lady on the phone interviewing me seemed to bring it up a lot. I am certainly very qualified to work for WDW, I am a former lifeguard supervisor for the city of Oklahoma City, I'm a veteran (US Army!), I have waterpark experience, clerk experience, I'm tri-lingual (english, arabic, and french), and far more credentials than I really want to list. The interviewer seemed impressed with my resume and everything but I feel like that tattoo is going to hurt me. I was very polite and everything, it just feels like I am just not going to get it. I told them to put me wherever they would like as long as I'm part of the team and that I am a strong leader, but I feel like I didn't tell them enough.. :brick:

someone help, I'm worried sick! :hurl:

I worked with several people with tattoos on their arms/wrists, all it does is limit you to a location with longsleeved shirts. So it may very well mean you wouldn't get a lifeguard or water park position, but it doesn't eliminate you from the program by any means.

lots of CMs have tattoos. i've worked with some that went to great lengths to cover them.

judging by your description, you should be fine.

I work with plenty of people who have tattoos (including one person with them all over his arms). So I wouldn't worry about that.

Im soooooo glad you posted this. I hope you get your job!! I have been contemplating employment at WDW for a looooong now. I have a few tattoos on my arms. They all can be completely covered with a long sleeve shirt, but I still felt they would hinder me getting a position. I was soooo happy to read the responses of CMs that work with others that have tattoos.....on that note, i will confidently fill out an application RIGHT NOW!! THANKS!!!
