Yeah I work at Canadian Tire right now, so I will make use of my 30% discount for all that stuff before I head down. The stickers I believe are only available for one year, but I will call the Ministry of Transportation and comfirm that.

worst case scenario, you should be able to get a 6 month extension from Ontario while you're in FL. That's something the police will notice, expired tags.

Car Car Car!!!

I drove 1500 miles from SD to FL and I would've been LOST without my car. Think about it, if you wake up late for work, you can DRIVE usually in 1/2 the time it takes to ride the bus...plus you can go ANYWHERE you want. I went to the beach a zillion times. But the DOWNSIDE to having your car is: gas expense, and if it breaks down expense. But i would DEFINATELY take my car again!!

I'd like to hear from CP's regarding whether or not you have a car, and if not, does the transportation provided (along with bummed rides, of course) get you where you need to be? It seems that for many people flying in from all over the country it would be difficult to provide a car.

On the topic of License Plates...
Does Florida require both a front and back plate? In Texas we are required to have both. Its loosely enforced but if a cop is bored they'll pull you over for it. I've got 2 Disney vanity plates and I want to put one on my front License Plate when I get out there. Do y'all know what the law is? Thanks!

doh!

blasted mind is playing tricks on me.

Yup.. rear plate only. No front plate, otherwise the DMV would be spending ungodly amounts replacing front plates every time that lovebug season was unusually bad.
