Country Bears MOVIE

I hate to compare it to this, but - -

It's like Al-Queda...it can't be taken away just with a few men...the whole system has to be removed.

Same thing with Imagination Institute - lol, I know this isn't the best example and isn't really that good for a Disney Discussion forum either - it must be totally rid of in order for that disgusting feeling to totally be moved away. Adding Figment won't fix it all...

How bout DRV2? I'd love to see those in Imagination. LoL

DRV2 = Dynamic Ride Vehicles version 2. Version 1's can be found at Dinosaur and the Indiana Jones Rides. Version 2's from what i've heard are even better. They are rumored to replace the Great Movie Ride with this system.

This depends on who you ask. Ask people whether they would want TT or WoM, and the answer will most likely be TT. Same thing when Mission:Space opens. In my opinion if Spaceship Earth wasn't the park Icon it would have been taken down with Horizons.

Personally, I don't think they would have taken down SE. That would involve a massive project to get it down. It was bad enough just adding and removing hand and words. It is out in the middle of everything. Others have been on the side, allowing easier access from the back to demolish.

Maybe there are plans for a new park full of the classic old rides, with the same rides, characters, everything except with better technology.

The key phrase you missed there was "the park icon" If it wasn't the icon, it wouldn't have been that tall and above everything. It would be about the same size as Horizons.

Yeah exactly. I said it if it was just another FW pavilion like Horizons or Living Seas. But since its the icon of the park you really can't get rid of it.

To get back on track, I love the Country Bears ever since I was a kid. Anyways I was looking through a Disney book and it said that the Bears movie would be about a group of singing bears and their rise and fall of stardom. Sounds Interesting!

Is it me...or does that sound a LOT like the plot to "the muppet movie"....

And don't forget Grizzly Hall!!

LOL...

Also, I talked to an Imagineer who had recently heard about the new film, and has heard nothing about a tie-in, but said they sometimes put movie tie-ins into some rides if they are quite popular...

That's why I want the film to fail... :D

I don't want to see it fail. Disney movies have lost a lot of appeal with all the stupid straight to video sequels. Snow Dogs wasn't that great and I don't have a lot of hope for Peter Pan II. However Lilo & Stitch seems like it will be good.

I know it probally won't happen, but I am afraid of them saying "Since the movie failed, people must not like the bears any more. We better close the show." Like I said, I doubt it will happen, but who knows it might.

No, not really.

The show will still remain popular - it always has - and Disney knows the BIG difference between the show and the movie.

All I am saying is if the movie is going to replace CBJ if it is popular, I would like to see it fail.

If it doesn't replace CBJ, may it live in glory!

:D

I really don't see them tying the movie in to the show. Too many complaints nd then we would have another JIYI situation on our hands.

We can only hope. We won't know until it is too late. I agree that iut should go to the studios, works better there. Frontierland has no place for a show like that.

agree with grizzlyhall

there is nothing at all boring about the CBJ .. I just love Big Al!!! Now if you want to talk about a ride that was borning .. Mission to Mars ..that was the pits and the only thing at the World that riding once in a life time was one time too many .. I dont think any one misses that ride

I think you can find out info about the 3 movies coming out at Disneypictures.com Also, not a fan of CBJ, sorry Grizzly Hall. Alot of people do like it though, and I think that they should keep it the way it is for those who do.
