Country Bears leaving MK?

I read on a rummor site that the four Country Bear characters at MK will no longer be making appearences in the park. Don't know how true this is, but since there are a lot of Bear fans on the board, so I just wanted to post this to let them know.

Do you mean walkarounds? There are four of them: Wendell, Shaker, Liver-Lips, and Big Al. I doubt they're leaving..they're really popular now adays.

I don't think this wil be happening. MKTiggerman should know, since this is what he does for a living.

sorry to say it, but it's true. They've been pulled from MK. You can still catch Wendell, Liverlips and Shaker at AK as random characters in the Oasis and Camp Minnie-Mickey, and Wendell at the character breakfast at the Hilton. Big Al is gone though.

and grizz, here- proof that they're doing SOMETHING in Character Design. The new, Post-plastic surgery, Donald Duck (daisy is there too!!). He started making appearances at WDW yesterday (Sunday)

Donald looks good! He actually looks like the character in the cartoons and on TV.

Better yet, make the walk arounds BEAR-SIZE Animatronics!!! :sohappy:

I did see on the travel channel that they are trying to create some sort of walk around animatronics for the future..who knows when that will happen, but it looked like a neat idea!

WHAT??!?!?!?! NOOOOOOOO!! I got my picture taken with my Big Al less than a month ago and now he's.. he's.. WAHHHHH HOW could they Do that to ME???
