Please note, this thread is NOT a discussion about Gay Days! Please do not start one and shut down my thread.

I just wanted to share this fun sing along from the Country Bears Jamboree. I really wish every performance of CBJ had this much energy!

You know only one thing that amazes me about that is how packed that theater is. I have never seen it that crowded in a really long time.

you can BEARly hear the show. Seems to me like the audio should be programmed to be loud enough to assume that people will be clapping to it.

Dear Crush,Please send me your list of medication for the above show.I'll check with my medic that Iam allowed to take them at the same time as my laughing pills and pain killers.:ROFLOL:

My love of country bears is what psychologists would refer to as "associative regression." My sister and I had a much-loved vinyl record of Disney music when we were little, and it included a lengthy medley of the Country Bear Jamboree. Whenever I see that show, I feel like a wide-eyed six year old again. Isn't that the real magic of Disney -- the ability to take away our cynicism, our judgmental tendencies, our wish to be edgy and disapproving and flaw-finding -- and let us be a carefree child again? For me, that child just happens to be one who loves folksy singing bears. I realize it's not for everyone, but you'll find me in the front row, clapping right along, assuming they reopen on schedule, which will be during my next visit. :)

I have that album..."The Official Album of Disneyland/Walt Disney World." Lots of awesome stuff on there...Main Street Electrical Parade, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, America Sings, Dapper Dans, MK Philharmonic/Disneyland Band, Country Bears....one of the best official album releases by Disney!
