Could this be used to help with waiting in long lines?

Would something like the honda U3-X: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuIJRsAuCHQ be allowed in the lines or even in the parks? I'm not a lazy person, but when we go to disney, after so much walking, I look for every opportunity to sit down and rest my feet, I would love to be able to sit down through a whole line rather than stand up through it.

I may be premature, but I hate to get hungry in the middle of things...

Never heard of this before, but in my short research it doesn't seem like it is even for sale to consumers yet. However, I doubt it would be allowed even if it were available. Disney is working very hard to keep people from riding Segways in their parks (ironic I know), so I would think this would fall into the same category.

Very cool technology, but please not in the parks. I nearly get run over by everything else rolling around the parks already! Scooters...you know who you are!

:D

More on topic, some attraction using a seated conveying system for some attraction's line could be a neat feature. It could all be tied in to being futuristic or something.

I guess what I'm thinking is pretty much just an omnimover, though. And that would be pricey.

Very cool prototype, but this is essentially the next Segway, except you sit on it and seems somewhat more portable.

I doubt it would be allowed. There doesn't seem to be a very easy way to stop at the drop of a dime or lock it on one spot for a duration. In a crowded situation, it could be dangerous. Disney doesn't allow Segways or roller shoes. It also doesn't permit ECVs in many of its queues and attractions. I also can't imagine something like this allowed on a parade route. Imagine trying to stay balanced to stay in one spot, but then you lean forward to see the next float and zoom you are off into the parade route.

Besides, the average tourist would screw things up and cause all sorts of accidents. People trying to ride with two passengers or with a baby. People trying to do tricks. People thinking they can go anywhere with it. I've seen people plow ECVs into curbs or completely just fall off of them for no apparent reason (seriously, I have). No offense, but the average human doesn't seem smart enough to use one of these safely and properly.

To be fair to this device, it's would be a lot less intrusive to other guests than the guy with triplets in a three-across stroller made by General Motors, complete with tinted windows and hydraulic shock absorbers.
