Anyone else upset that we lose our post-count when a thread gets deleted??? I mean... I'm no bigshot with some thousands posts... I count my every post... and now...

Ok, either that is random, or is supposed to mean something. Either way, I really think that when the owner of a message board deletes a thread, its probably not good to try to start it up again, and complain about your post count getting lowered, especially when you dont contribute financially to the message board.

dude seriously chill out... I've never posted a serious comment in my life... nor have I ever seriously complained about anything... I already commented that I was joking around about the like 4 posts I lost in that previous thread....

Also, there was no arguments or problems in the other thread... it was just absolutely meaningless and brought nothing to the "general discussion" portion of the forum... Chit Chat is for thread drifts... well guess what? that thread had drifted... WELCOME BACK

I apologize I'm 21... a college kid with Student Loans and absolutely no steady income and 98% of my income goes directly to loans... sorry I cannot currently afford to be a premium member... I GLADLY would pay the fee if I could afford it... so don't act like you're better than those of us who are here "for free"... it entirely ruins the nature of the site... if Steve wanted this to be a site that you could only use if you've paid for it... he would... and I wouldn't have a problem with that... but it's not that kind of site... so don't put me down...

Someone complaining that a thread was removed and starting it over is like going into someones home and telling them what kind of artwork to put on the walls. Its just inconsiderate and disrespectful.

You're right... it's the exact same thing......

What is the purpose... in all honesty... what is the purpose to post in a thread for one reason only... and that reason being to bash someone? Like... seriously... that's like going to your son's little league game... and then going to the next field over in which he isn't playing on... and trash talking to the pitcher on the mound... its just inconsiderate and disrespectful...

Now I might be confused... seriously I might be... but I thought as long as something wasn't explicit and (not trying to be funny, only word that works here) isn't inappropriate that it is okay to post in chit-chat... People were having fun talking in that thread, a lot of people were... and yes it got deleted... and again, it was my understanding (and I hope Steve knows I'm sorry if it wasn't) that the previous that just didn't offer anything meaningful to the General Discussion portion, and so he tossed it...

Now, up until your post... the thread's overall atmosphere was friendly... with some jokes, and some laughs... I don't see a problem with that...
