Or, go into your bathroom, close the door, turn the shower on hot, full blast, and turn the heat in the house up to 90F degrees. Stand there for about 45 minutes. This will replicate the queue for BTMRR in August.

This is actually the best explanation I could imagine. Although this really describes Florida a little closer to summer. For May, just turn the heat up in your house to 87F degrees before doing the shower thing. Much more accurate.

Just know that you will be able to tell your friends what the air in Florida actually feels like.

One of the other terms you will hear alot of down in Florida is Dew Point. That is the temperature at which the relative humidty would be 100%. The higher the dew point, the more humid it is. When the dew point is 65 degrees or below, it's usually pretty comfortable. 65-70 and you start to feel the humidity. When the dew point gets into the 70s it's gonna be a humid, sticky day. Some of the worst days in the summer will have dew points near or slightly above 80.

One thing to remember about the dew point as well. Normally, that will be the coolest the temperature will drop overnight. For example, if the dew point is 75, you can expect that the overnight low will not be below that point, unless the dew point drops as well.

I dont like humity. I'm from CA and went to WA and experienced it. I'd take a nice cool shower get ready . When i'd walk outside , I just wanted to run back in the shower. It was just awful!
I read on a website somewhere that Nov is 89%, does that mean it will be awful? My first choice was taking my trip in Dec but Nov is looking better for us. Would love to know what mid Nov is like. TIA!
