Following todays announcement about Busch Gardens, Aquatica, Discovery Cove and Seaworld joining Universal in building brand new parks in Dubai.

Do you ever see a time when you would consider going to Dubai rather than Orlando?

Personally unless Disney joins them I think I would rather still have a longer flight and a better overall holiday. But, over the next few years my Holiday pattern is going to change anyway, my kids are getting older and I am going to have to stick to the school holidays. So if the prices for Dubai are more realistic then I would consider it, also if the parks are as good as they should be then that would help persuade me as well.
What counts against Dubai is the lack of Disney (at the minute) and also the temp in the summer would be just crazy.

Unless they put very new and unique things there and build it up to an incredible level...I don't think they would be able to attract enough people to go there. Even Busch is building things that are already in Orlando (or the area) there. So they aren't really going to be drawing away business because the things will be nearly the same.

If money wasn't an object, darn right I would. It'd take a helluva lot more initiative for Dubai to replace Orlando for me, mind you, but Dubai certainly looks awesome.
