Could Disney have its own version of Gaylord Palms Ice?

Well with the princess power behind this film it means ticket sales are almost guaranteed, especially for the meet and greet aspect of it, gives the kids an incentive and gives the adults something amazing to look at. As Gaylord uses Dreamwork titles to help bring in the kiddies these two princess should pack the wallop needed to convince management to give it the go.
They would sell tickets no matter the theme. They could shove Lion King into ice sculptures and it would more than likely get more run than Frozen. I just think that they are either not interested in it or simply do not see enough of a market for it considering that you have an identical offering just blocks off property.

So do it in Anaheim. Another area devoid of 'real winter'.

Disney just isn't into it from what I can see - they don't want to copy the other guys I guess. Plus it's something they would have to bring all outside people in to do.. probably seems like the wrong direction when there is so much christmas stuff they can do in house with their existing talents.

Not into it????? HMMMMMMM seems that a nearby hotel that is and has done it for years may have been an impediment to having a similar event.

However now that the new movie is an actual hit the idea will carry more weight.
Then they need time to develop the concept, which anyone with any type of common sense knows takes time from concept to design to build.
So they could do a half baked idea next year and risk failure in comparison to Gaylord or do it right and maybe have something in two/three years that is an equal or better.

And TWDC exists in far more locations than the Gaylord does.. and they still haven't done it. So explain that one?????? HMMMMMMMMMMMMM

That brings us right back to the start. Disney had no reason to wait for a successful winter themed movie to do this. Shrek and Madagascar don't exactly scream winter wonderland to me. Had they wanted to do it, they could have used any one of a dozen properties already.

I guess if they do one of these it would be a separate ticketed attraction, however if you plop it in a parking lot or a resort, then there would be a parking fee as well.
