sorry we dont have a splash mt . in this report , but it does include many little splashs.. along the way... first off it was a nice day for a run.. and wasnt too hot... with a totla of 2106 people in the 10k.. and it was my time runing it... , not a 10 k but this race.. so my goal was to beat my 10k time from sept. of 50:48... so we started out nice and steady ... my gun time was 49:54.. so here we go.. buckle up folks... as we take a twist and turns and run up a mountian (hill) , so my 1 and 2 wasnt too bad.. i hit mile 2 at 16 something ... , i was booking it.. so i thought haha!.. i really didnt get fategied that much.. , so as i m out of mile 2 i grab a cup of water and dose my head and keep chugging , so mile 3 wasnt intresteing.. and oh yeah did i mention the hill ... , this was the time for the hill and the hill you knew was coing up , and they let you know it too, bc of the rockey music playing as you went up! .. i hit the hill at 23.60 or something like that.. i was like yes i got this im on my pace to break my time .. from last 10k .. so after i let my calfs cool off from the burn of runing the hill , got to the top .. and it leaveled out thank goodness.. , and we heard some of the voluteers ( scouts) , handing out water... they are like its all down hill from here.. and we rounded the corner , he was literaly right ,, and a great way to pick up your pace if you lost it. lol. and mile 4 and 5 was fun bc it was a nice streach of shaded parkway... so it was flat , another good way to pick up time.. so and i took the open door opturnity.. :), then coming into the home strech .. back half of 5 .. there were water sprinkles going and people spraying water hoses.. and the crowd support was fanomandal.. it was just like i was back in Nashville doing the cmm again.. , but the home strech was awesome.. we came back into down town.. by this time i was trying to give it all i had .. bc you know how you feel the adrinaline of the back streach thats how i felt .. come around the corner , and i saw the finsih line so i kicked it as fast i could muster.. and ive got to wear i can do it in a jog type of sprint and not tirer my self out.. , ( oposed to when i first started runing my first 10k nd other races) but I crossed the finsih line at 50:03. a new Pr for me and yes my goal was to beat my first 10k time and yes i did! .. so Joel i encourge you to do reserch on this race and come run it next year! .. now time to submit my time to disney! ... :) overall i was 369 out of 2106. and 55 out 169 in my age group
