Simple question-
Do most people (or rather, can you) dress up in a Halloween costume for Halloween Horror Nights or for any other events?

Thanks!

They do not allow costume for safety and security concerns. Since there are so many scaracters out in the streets and in the houses, if a guest was in a costume it would impossible to distinguish them apart from workers. If that guest was a rambunksous teenager who likes to cause problems, they could ruin the night for not only the other guests but the workers as well.

D'oh, that stinks!

Does anyone happen to know of any places in Orlando that you CAN wear costumes to or like a big costume Halloween party going on during the month of October?

Why would it have to be a teenager? Couldn't it be a rude 29-year-old? Just interesting that you said "If that guest was a rambunksous teenager who likes to cause problems" as opposed to something like "If that guest was a jerk who likes to cause problems," or something along those lines.

I think he was just giving an example and didn't mean anything by it :animwink:
Exactly.

My experience is that the teens are the ones who are more likely to cause problems. Adults don't cause problems until about 11 o'clock, when the alcohol starts kicking in.

Guavaween is Ybor's answer to Mardi Gras (more or less). I hate Ybor with a fiery passion. I only go down there when I absolutely have to (last time was over 6 months ago to see a friend's old band). It's just a glorified meat market. Way too much low life for my liking. And the crowds during Guavaween are INSANE. It gets so packed you literally can't move. Crazy people down there.
