Costume halloween

I am planning to go for Halloween and I have some doubts about the costume we can wear.

Firstly, I would like to know if I can take a toy sword. My father in law want to wear as Peter Pan and he does not know if he can take the toy sword.

Additionally, my mother in law wants to wear as Cinderella. I have watched on the website "Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground". Does anyone know what the meaning is? In other words, I am not sure what it is considered "drag".

In other words, how long have the dress to be?

By 'drag', it means it can't touch the ground and keep touching the ground as you walk along.

I'm not sure about the sword, but as far as the "dragging" I would think as long as it wasn't a train to a dress or a cape that was on the ground as you walk, it would be fine.

Dresses cannot touch the ground. They should be no longer than ankle-length, so that they do not become a tripping hazard for you or other guests.

Last Halloween party we bought toy swords from the Pirates gift shop, so I would think you could bring them, but could be wrong.
