Cost of Taxi & Bus system

Question for the experienced Disney traveler.

We are staying at Coronado Springs and wonder what the cost may be to travel to City walk (Universal).

We priced Mears and it's $16 per person. Any cost of what a taxi would be from Downtown Disney to Universal would be?

What about the local bus that operates, is it Lynx?

Any help on this would be great. Thank you

From what I've heard, Lynx is very inconvenient because it requires a transfer near Sea World.

A Taxi would probably be comparable to the airport, abour $50-60 each way.
Mears or a private towncar would be your cheapest option, depending on how many people you have.

You could also look into a one-day car rental from one of the on-property rental desks.
