How much does it cost to put on Wishes/Fantasmic!/Illuminations each night?

I might not have the right answer for this question, BUT...

When I worked on the Jungle Cruise at the Magic Kingdom, Fantasy in the Sky fireworks, we heard cost at least $25,000.00 each night! And Illuminations is sponsored by Sylvania, so I would assume Sylvania pays for those and for Fantasmic! I would assume the same holds true as for Fantasy in the Sky!

Now given how prices have risen over the years, one could only guesstimate at their cost nowadays!

Hope this helps some!

When I worked in costuming at Fantasmic last year, I heard it costs around $30,000/per show. I think that includes the pyro, all the effects, and paying the cast & crew.

I wish disney released some figures towards how much an attraction cost. It would really be something neat to look at.

Cost is also relative. Retail cost, wholesale cost, cost of the manufacturing?

Since Disney makes a lot of their own fireworks they would get the lowest cost but they could easily advertise the highest cost.

That isn't exactly true. Several companies make the product for Disney such as San Tai and MP Associates. The product is manufactured in China, Italy and the US. But yes, they should get their stuff for lower than wholesale price.

I read the other thread linked here and realized my estimate was pretty high.
