Thank you for the fun report! Felt like I was there. You're giving me more confidence to do a solo trip. I registered for WDWMagic so I could follow your trip reports!
I'm honored!
If you're thinking of doing a solo trip, take the plunge! There's so much freedom in being able to decide your own schedule and be able to pivot quickly based on what you feel like in the moment. I do love my trips with friends and family too, but it can be stressful, especially if you're the group's designated planner (there's always one... and I have a feeling most of us reading these trips are The One lol). I know some people hesitate to go solo thinking it might be awkward, but nobody blinks an eye. The one thing I haven't been able to bring myself to do solo is a buffet, but that's more because I'd be stressed the entire time that they'd clear my table while I was getting food
I absolutely loved your trip report. I am getting ready to watch your 2 starlight videos. I hope you have another trip soon, so I can read about it!!! Thank you!!!
Thanks for following!! I don't have any Disney trips planned at the moment, but that means nothing when you're me lol I'm really bad at planning nice, long, relaxing vacations a year in the distance --- I'm more the "plan 2 months out for a mini marathon trip" type. Case in point, my friends just this past week convinced me to go to Epic Universe with them in November (in my defense, I haven't been before). One day I'll learn... but that day is not today
Thanks for sharing! Loved the new parade videos!
Thanks for following! Sorry my sad, ancient phone is so bad at taking good night photos

It's definitely a parade more for experiencing than capturing on camera, especially with the changing colors. I think I had bad luck in that almost every time a float passed me it was in the "blue/white" color portion of the rotation, and I missed a lot of the colorful/rainbow portion. But hey! Just means I have to go back and see it again!
Thank you for taking us on your trip with you!!
Thank you for following along! It was fun to be able to share with you all : )
Let me preface that I do mostly solo trips, just because I like the flexibility to do what I want, but do agree that sometimes you want someone there to share in the fun. The first time I went on Flying Carpets, I had the camel spit in my face right away, and I immediately started laughing and couldn't stop. It seemed that they had it out for me, as I got blasted multiple times, laughing heartily the whole time. I know this is basically just a boring spinner ride, but that spitting makes me want to ride it every time.
And you didn't warn me?!?!
I'm not sure if the spitting makes me want to ride it more or less
Thank you again for doing this live trip report!
Even though I had a lot going on - I was checking in all weekend as I enjoyed your perspective so much. You notice so many details - that ice cream cart named ‘Kirstoff?’ Who knew????

So glad you had a great time.
Thanks for following along! I'm glad you enjoyed my spin on things. I think that's one of the most fun things about reading all the reports- seeing what kinds of things everyone is interested in, or the kinds of things that stuck out to them. Everyone is different!
Thank you for sharing!! This was so much fun & I love your writing style!!
Thanks so much!!! I love your reports too -- I'm just really bad at commenting instead of lurking
P.S. Now that I've stayed at both, I do think Riverside is superior. Don't tell French Quarter, I don't want to hurt her feelings... she was a very cute resort and did nothing wrong.
