Corporate Sponsor Lounges

I am curious about the various corporate sponsor lounges in the parks. Has anyone here been inside one? If so, what are they like?

Yes. I have been in the one that used to be used in the Living Seas and the one in Mission: Space.

They are really neat. The Living Seas was really big. They had their own aquarium viewing area as well as many dinner tables and a piano. It is no longer used anymore however.

The Mission: Space one was awesome. It looked right over the line inside the building, but you wouldn't know where it was necessarilly if you were in the line looking up.

Both were really nice.

I've heard the General Motors Corporate Lounge in Test Track is the most exquisite, but they wouldn't let me in that one.

I've been in the HP lounge at Mission: Space. The HP folks were nice enough to let us in there on the Undiscovered Future World tour. Very futuristic, with a neat computerized labryinth game in there. We also got to go to the lounge at Spaceship Earth -- that was between AT&T and Siemens, so it was just generic "party" space. But there's a VERY cool WDW/EPCOT history display in the walkway to the lounge.

Did you get to go to the Spaceship Earth lounge in the UnDISCOVERed Future World tour? You were lucky. I didn't get to go to that one. :(

Now that I think about it, I also got to go in the lounge in The Land because it was turned into that Annual Passholder lounge for a short time. It was cool too. Part of it looked over the entire Land pavillion. :)

In 2005 as we exited Test Track we got invited up to the GM Corporate Lounge. It was really neat, you could sit and have drinks overlooking the inside of test track. The front has windows that look out over epcot. In fact we were their in the holiday season and we took a picture of our kids in front of the christmas tree with the epcto globe in the background and that was our Christmas Card. Then when you leave you get to get priority seating on the ride.

I noticed the one in Mission: Space while standing on line. I asked a CM what room it was and he explained it was the HP Corporate lounge. I wouldn't have had a clue otherwise.

I've been inside the Horizons GE corporate lounge. It had a huge screen with video shot inside Epcot as it didn't have outside windows to the park. There was a seating area, restroom, and counter area where you could order complimentary beverages and tangerine candy. Then there was the private hallway to the exit of Horizons where we loaded onto the ride.

I've been in the lounges for the American Adventure, Wonders of Life and The Land as part of various events. The AA lounge is very tastefully decorated as a formal reception room, with a conference-type room on one end and a formal dining room on the other. As you look towards the manor house from the outside, the second floor windows are the VIP lounge. Its bathroom also still has the pink soap powder that has been removed from all of the other restrooms on property.

The Wonders lounge is very, very coloful and circus-like. The elevator that you ride in to access the lounge from backstage is covered with mirrors, so your reflection is replicated thousands of times. There's a "big-top" area to one side and windows that look out into the main pavilion area. There's also a small theater area, likely for the AniComical Players, but I didn't get close enough to get a good look.

The Land's lounge is nice. It has a long hallway that looks out into the pavilion's atrium. There are also small dining and lounge areas that look out onto the rain forest, desert and prarie show scenes of Living with the Land.

My grandma is a GM retiree...does anyone know if she can go into the Test Track lounge? And if so, what does she have to show as "proof" of her retiree status?

If anyone has a clue, I would appreciate it!

Yes, she can go into the test track lounge but it is only opened during normal business hours during weekdays. I was there reacently on a weekend with my grandpa, another GM retiree, and he took us to the priority seating on the ride. For the weekends you have to go to a desk kind of near the car show area. It is on the left hand side of the room when you enter from the gift shop side. I'm not sure where you have to go to get into the lounge during the week. She will need her GM ID tag to get into the lounge or the priority seating on the ride and also a photo ID to prove that she is the rightful owner to the ID tag.

The other cool thing about that video screen was that there were controls inside the pavilion where you could control the video to what view you wanted at the time.

Is there an AP lounge still?
