The McDonalds Lounge inside of Dinosaur is nothing that special I think. It has a couple of couchs and things like that. I have never been inside it but I remember hearing about what is in it when I was an animal presenter.

I was inside the Living Seas private lounge area....United Technologies (Carrier AC and Otis Elevator, et al) The lower floor had access to the attraction through side door....Free snacks, colas, and elevator to second floor. Some very nice displays of BoatWorks products and a very nice meal...I remember the butter was shaped like Mickey....The corporate conference room was very fancy and had some "state of the art" rear projection machinery.....The balcony (for smokers) looked out onto some kind of building that seemed to be a cafeteria, rest area for the park employees....I understand that UT is no longer sponsor...too bad...It was always a treat to go over there for the Carrier new products meeting every year....:(

I think the one at the one in the Living Seas and it is very elegant with a cool clear piano.

The one at Wonders of Life is themed like a circus.

I have been in the GE at Horizon when it was Horizon, and also was in the Kodax one at Imagination. They both had the free drinks and the snacks. Kinda makes you feel special.

I have been in UoE; Spaceship Earth; Horizons; WoM and Imagination.

In the past at Epcot, if you had access to one (ie an employee of the sponsor), they would give your party access to all the lounges. In the late 80's, early 90's that was the way to do Futureworld!. No queing, just plenty of free soft drinks, snacks and coffee in a cool air-conditioned lounge! (providing you did not want to ride anything after 4-5pm!!!)

However, more recently, they have only started issuing passes to one (or two if your lucky) other lounges other then the one your employer sponsored.

I remember, the Kodak lounge had the best lemonade and plenty of artwork and books to look at. It was also one of the largest.

In all cases, when you were ready (or the next show was starting) you were taken straight onto the ride via a back-door.

In the case of UoE, there was a countdown clock to the next show in the lounge - rather like the ones out front.

I can only ever remember seeing other parties in the lounge once or twice when we used them.

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
I am kicking myself for this now...last time I was at Epcot, I was with one of my friends who works for At&t at the coporate level and he asked me if I wanted to go to the VIP area or whatever, in the ball...aka Spaceship Earth... I passed....I was in a hurry....dough!! I will hit it next time I am there, and try to get some pics.

I also know a little about how it all works. I'll post more on it at a time when my attention span is a little longer ;)

How do you get into these? Show your employee ID or something.

Well, until recently, I was told that MetLife employees could access the Wonders Of Life lounge with thier ID. The last time I was in the AT&T lounge, there were lots of AT&T folks entering.

I was fortunate to have business ties with AT&T. Our account rep got me access many times. The best time was on the first occation. After going to the AT&T lounge, We received extra passes to most of the other lounges. AT&T used to have a recipical plan with other lounges, since the SE lounge was so popular.

That first time, we gained access to WoL, UE, WoM, Horizon, Kodak, Sony (DS), and SM (MK). As a bonus, we gained access to the AT&T lounge at Universal too. Took a picture with ET.

The only other one I have been in, was the one above AA. Got to do that one last December. Although I used the AT&T route, I have been informed that American Express cardholder can gain access too.

Of all the lounges, I think GM has the best one. It was better before they put that ride around the outside of the building, but the view is pretty cool.
