You know what's funny?
Does anyone else feel like it's weird not to wear a mask?

I went into Walgreens today and didn't put it on (I still had it in my pocket). I've worn a mask even though mandates were dropped, but now I'm vaxed AND I had omicron, so I felt like I didn't need it. It felt so weird. I ended up having to put it on because I still have a leftover cough from omicron and thought it would make those around me feel better, but it was so weird.
Nah. For me its the opposite. Its weird when I am required to wear one. Like when traveling.

You still have socially distanced M&G, plexi-dividers in some queues, and shows modified for COVID, for example Festival of the Lion King. Not to mention the covid side effects, restaurants still not open, staffing problems, etc.
Do the rides still have plexiglass dividers on them or is it just the queue lines now?

Mandates have not been dropped here yet. Not entirely at least. Plus some days are still cold so not yet. I don't have the opportunity to not wear a lot. Word is come end of spring break I will be mask free

My kid can drop in school but still wears as he doesn't want to pick up anything before break. We talk about Disney and he isn't sure yet. So I get it. It's mentally something to get over. No rushing but do it IMO. Take it slow. We felt that last summer though by the time our mandates dropped I was beyond ready to go.

We've had mask mandates here for so long plus these days it seems like usually I'm just at the doctor's (working from home life...) that now it feels weird to take it off. I also wore it even when not required because I wasn't fully vaccinated until last September, and even then I felt like with my asthma that I should still wear it to prevent COVID. Ironically, I got COVID when fully vaccinated and had absolutely no asthma symptoms, but I digress. Just felt really strange having to wear it.

Wearing a mask especially when one is sick ( ie coughing, sneezing etc ) is a good thing and very respectful of others. Travel to Japan and that's common over there. I'd be wearing a mask especially in a place like Walgreens but that's just me.

I've gotten so used to wearing a mask that I do feel really weird and exposed when I'm not wearing one out in public. The black N95s I got from Amazon are really comfortable, and I kind of feel like a ninja wearing them, which is always fun. Plus, it nicely covers my problem areas. By which I mean my face :p Seriously, the single best part of mask-wearing is never having to bother with makeup!

Big jump in cases today. Last Tuesday 49K, today 108K. it doubled.....that's troubling....VERY troubling.
My advise, stop looking at cases daily! Stop comparing single days to each other. The day before cases were unnaturally low. It happens. Seriously you'll stress yourself waaaay too much if you keep this up.

But if you do want to look. Go on the 22nd. Cases "spiked" to 123k then dropped again. I find Tuesday to be higher on average for many places but last week was a holiday so it hit more on the next day or so. And again not all states report daily.

Also last week was a holiday. This is the second time you’ve posted about a big jump and as you can see from my picture above, over the weekend there were less positive cases then the weekend before.

It's legit for me but look at the cases the two days before. Screen shot attached
