Hello, been using the forum to plan a surprise anniversary trip next year.

Currently booked POFQ Sept/Oct 2019 but the discount for CSR is large (cost of flights @ £800!) and I'm seriously contemplating a switch as I expect the tower to be done bar fit out and if restaurant is done and opened will be a fantastic resort at an incredible price.

I really enjoyed our stay at Coronado in March even with the construction going on! We've only ever stayed at Riverside but switched to CSR because of the cost savings. I preferred the buses and main pool at CSR over those at both Port Orleans resorts. I liked the food court at Port Orleans better but we didn't plan to eat at the resort that much anyway.

Thanks for the replies.

Making me awfully tempted to switch to CSR. Looks like the trip is going down to a 2 week (from 3) so less of a saving but the location seems closer (AK) and similar for MK/EP.

The bus rides were much shorter to the parks since the resort is more central than POR/FQ. It was only 5-10 minutes to AK. It felt like MK bus at CSR was about the same as PO - 15 minutes to the park. And I've always had the worst luck with early morning buses to Epcot lol. It was bad at both CSR and POR each time I tried to do early morning magic hours. It's just our luck!! It seemed like forever to get to HS though - not because it was far away but because of the construction at the HS parking lot. It felt like we were waiting forever for the bus to get to the unloading area.
