I just got back from CSR today. I normally stay at POR but saved about $70/night staying at CSR. I stayed in Ranchos 6B, which according to the iPhone was about .4 miles from the food court. I would wake up a little early and go get breakfast for my wife and kids ( 3 and 7 ) while they got ready. We utilized Bus stop #3 and had really good experiences with the buses going and coming. Buzz2001 may be able to speak to this, but I attribute that to the fact that 1/3 of the resort has been demolished for the tower, and I saw a lot of convention attendees at the hotel. It also seemed that a lot of airline pilots were there too.
The pool is amazing my three year old used a life jacket provided by the resort and went down the water slide at least 20 times every time we went swimming.
I was apprehensive because of the construction and that fact that I have been staying at POR since it was Dixie Landings, but I have to say we loved CSR. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
PS Bell Services was very helpful with checkout.
