Coronado Springs

I just booked a first time trip for me and my wife to stay at Coronado Springs. Is there anything I need to know about the hotel or amenities. . . any advice on this hotel would be great. Thanks!

Question about Bus transportation there. How long from the resort does it take to get to a park? I am a little nervous about this and thinking of switching to Port Orleans since there is also a boat that goes to parks. Is that right? What is the closest resort at a moderate value to a park? Is there one that is within walking distance?

Coronado has several stops, so we found it slower than Port Orleans-FrQ (which didn't share buses with Port Orleans-Riverside to MK when we were there) and Pop Century. It's about the same as Caribbean Beach, which also has several stops.

The PO-Riverside boat goes to Downtown Disney, but not to parks. The boats that go to parks are at the deluxe resorts between Epcot and MGM, and from Wilderness Lodge to MK.

You can't walk from any moderate to a park. You can walk to MK from Contemporary (a deluxe) and to MGM and Epcot from the deluxe resorts on the canal between them.

In my experience, the quickest bus connection from a moderate to a park - by a long shot - is POFQ to MK. PO is very close to MK, and the FQ bus to MK when we were there was non-stop. Buses to the other parks stopped to Riverside.
