I have enjoyed each of my stays at the Coronado Springs. (3 in last year) It really is all a matter of personal preference.
I've never stayed at either of those, I've stayed at the wilderness lodge, the beach club, the port orleans riverside, the all-star sports and the movies. Do you know which (if any) of these it comes into comparison?

You could compare with Port Orleans riverside. One thing to note is that the resort is VERY spread out, very like Caribbean Beach.

Coronado is not overly Disney themed in my opinion, and noise level, crowd will totally depend on what type of conventions may be in residence. Coronado doesn't share buses with other resorts so that is also a plus in my opinion.

I have only stayed at CSR, but absolutely love it. Grounds are beautiful and the amenities are deluxe level. CSR has Queen sized beds and if not in a renovated room, CBR doesn't.

We have stayed at both. In fact, we were at CSR just last week. Both resorts are very large and very scenic. In my estimation, the rooms at CSR are nicer and the bus service at CSR is better. Also, Pepper Market gets the nod over the food court at Port Royale.

Due to an issue with disney's website/chat center database, I unfortunately can not stay at the coronado springs and will be staying at the art of animation, please don't unwatch yet I will be posting a link to my trip report on January 30th when I start it.

I prefer Coronado. I honestly think it's just that I like the business class rooms with the lounge. That's about it lol.

I stayed in a finding memo suite at AoA and it was amazing. I loved AoA.
