Coranado Springs Resort help

Ok, so far it looks like we are staying at Coranado Springs Resort. We have pretty much (the last 10-12 trips) stayed at Movies/Pop. So I am clueless on Resort layout and bus transportation. We LOVED the bus service w/all stars and Pop, will we be happy at CS? we are driving down, but don't really want to drive to the parks (esp. MK) unless absolutely needed. SO, what section do we stay at and how are the buses? Thanks!

btw: we'd like to be close to bus pick up/food court etc.

I stayed at Coronado over Memorial Day weekend and loved it. We stayed in Building 8A, the Cabanas and were close to the Main Pool, not too far away from the Food Court, and very close to the Bus stop. I found the buses to be rarely full. I always had a seat, even at park closing time. They ran quickly too. 15 minutes was the longest I ever had to wait for a bus.

Also, when we were there, they had CM's in golf carts giving guests rides from the Ranchos and Cabanas to the main area. They would give them rides back to their buildings too. So, even if you're in the ranchos there's always the possibility you could get a golf cart ride to the front, or back to your room.

Is the main pool the area with the water slide and aztec pyramid feature? I think the kids will want to spend some serious time there! They also want to take a ride on the boats as well. Thanks for all the information. Very helpful! btw: is anyone else from the boards going to be at CSR Dec. 22-Jan 1st?

Yeah the pool is pretty stellar, it is not the best pool on property but it is definitely the coolest moderate pool and the slide is great. They have to 2 quiet pools too which can be nice if your room is near one. Enjoy, i'll be there in about 12 months if im lucky!

thanks for that info. I think the kids will want us to try for rooms closest to it so hopefully we can manage that.
