Coral Reef?

On previous trips we have always had a good dinner at the coral reef, however we ate there last Sunday and my mother ended up with food poisoning after eating the lobster pasta. She was knocked out for 2 days of our trip and was really ill. My DD12 and I had the mahi mahi and were fine, we all had the same dinner, breakfast and lunch together for meals leading up to our dinner at coral reef. It's the second time someone in our group has gotten sick eating at disney, DD12 got sick last time (2011) from La Hacienda.

We enjoy Coral Reef. I always get the steak followed by the Bailey's and Jack Daniels Mousse. Having a whole wall be part of an aquarium is really neat and helpful since the service can be quite slow at times. I do think it is a bit overpriced, but this is Disney so what isn't. :)

We ate there a few years ago our food, service and atmosphere were all great. I really liked the menu and thought it had some great offerings that would be suitable to a varity of taste.

Thought the food was better years ago. I go to the Coral Reef depending on what is on the menu. Though I must say one year when I wanted an appetizer and they ran out, they gave my husband and I free lobster bisques and apologized profusely. Very classy and awfully nice to do.

Oh I am so mixed on what to write. The food is inconsistent. I have had some of the best meals there and some not that stellar! Last time we were seated so close to another couple, we might as well have been family. The tank is truly amazing! If you sit next to the window, expect a lot of visitors to see the tank up close. If you sit far back, you will want a closer look.. I really wish there was a place to stand next to the glass for observers.

All in all, it is a very memorable place and the service is always excellent!

It's true. Not a must do for me every trip. I wait, go elsewhere in Epcot and the resort around it, wait til they change the menu and try again.
