Does anyone know what the signifigance, if any, there is that all the clocks with the exception of the cukoo clock in the 3rd scene, are set to 5:45?

It looks like the cukoo may have been at 5:45 at one time but is 5:50 now.

I think it's simply that he's home at the same time of day in each 'era' as he carries on the conversation with the audience.

The time actually makes sense--he's back from work and it's not quite yet dinner time. However dinner would be in the oven, thus allowing him to show off his newfangled electric cooking appliances in action. I guess the only question is: why is a cuckoo clock cuckooing at 5:50?

the clock should be at 5:45, but its not for some reason. Someone was probably dusting the clock and forgot to reset it.

Some cooko clocks can cooko every 15 mins.

I once had a cooko clock that chirped once on the half hour and then did some insane chirping on the hour.

However, my friends once had a cooko clock that did in fact chirp quarter of and quarter past the hour......drove the dog insane :dazzle:

I have always wondered if there was some significance to the 5:45pm time myself. The cuckoo clock was definitely 5:45 until earlier this year. It seemed like such a specific time...I wondered if it was more than just random. (I've asked this before a few years ago too actually though no one knew.)

There's also a bird in every scene. (Robins in the window; parrot with Grandma; "Blue Bird" soap; chicken ceramic figure) Just a random observation.
