The Grandma in 'Carousel of Progress' has a secret. She is actually a zombie.

You want proof? Ride the 'Haunted Mansion' and see her ghost sitting in a chair in the ballroom scene.

I think that I have seen this before. But never noticed or thought about it.
Did you notice this or did you read it somewhere.:confused:

There is an old story that one of the Grandma AA's was one of Walt Disney's favorite when they were getting ready for the World's Fair he had it ride with him in his plane. They replicated that AA in an old lady sitting in a swing in a tree in the graveyard scene in the haunted mansion. Not sure if the lady in the tree is in our haunted mansion or not

I've had the opportunity to see the Grandmother in the Haunted Mansion up close, and yup, it's her.

I think some of the other figures are former Pirates.
I'm not sure about that, but the Caretaker in the cemetary has a twin brother on permanent safari at the Jungle Cruise (one of the guys being chased up the pole by a rhino). Similarly, most of the residents of Spaceship Earth are re-cast Presidents and historical figures from American Adventure.

If not currently, at some point they were pirates. I'm having a hard time remembering what the ballroom figures look like up close.

Do elderly zombies clamor for brans?

// G'night everybody

They do, because brains are soft and easy to chew and swallow.

Back on topic, I read about this in "The Haunted Mansion: From the Magic Kingdom to the Movies", and I love to point that out to my family every time.

Here is another gem...

The old suit of armor that stood outside the endless hallway is now in the attic.
