THANKS ALOT! I figured we would start seeing queue pictures soon. I actually get more excited about seeing the queues develop than the actuall attractions themeslves. I guess because we pretty much know how the mountain is going to look, but we have no idea what the queues will be like. This early pic looks pretty darn good. Thanks for sharing.

I am guessing that the track we see leading to the load platform is the track that will lead out of the loading area. If you look closely there is also another track spur off of that one leading into a tunnel. Maybe an underground storage facility for the ride vehicles? :veryconfu

Yes. The right side (onride pov) is the normal route that heads to the lift and the rest of the ride. I believe the left side heads to a maintainence area. If I'm wrong, I'm sure Lee will correct me :D

I love the pics. It's great to see all the rockwork thats been completed. Looks like its almost completely covered!

Of course I will.... ;)

Looking at the photo, the curving track on the left is the section after the first drop that goes around the lift.

The track in the center coming out of the cave is the end of the ride leading back to the station.

The raised portion in the rear is part of the back-side helix.

Nice photo, YenSid

I haven't seen such a real view of the mountain since I was there 9 months ago. And that was progress.

The attraction looks so great now. And all that rockwork looking placed in. I can't wait until it is painted and then the scaffolding is removed.

Great pictures! They've made so much progress since I was there just a month ago. Getting excited (and scared) about riding all that track. :D

expedition everest coaster

i heard that it is very big.
when i was there back in november 2004 i could see the supports of the mountain and some supports of the track of the rollercoaster.
it is going to be packed with big drops and other stuff.
there also might be some drops backwards during the ride.
hopefully the ride will be finished soon and next time i visit animal kingdom i will be able to ride it.
it is also said to be one of walt disneys biggest coasters!!!
