Cool Club - Epcot

I just wish they would power wash the inside of the store so it didn't smell so rancid.

I've experienced a sticky floor but not been there when it smelled bad. I usually try to go there early before the place gets to run through. Does anyone know how busy Club Cool is compared to other attractions? I would have to guess its up there.

In the Parks
Yes
Just wondering if they ever gonna replace the machine at Club Cool with the Free-Style coke machine? Think about all the differ combinations.
They have these at the World of Coke in Atlanta, so I don't see why they can't bring them to Epcot.

As the old timers chip in about remembering when Coke and Pepsi were in the parks at the same time....

Are we really old timers?

We must be, I was born in 1985 and went to EPCOT in 199-something and Pepsi was there at that time too. I remember getting a pepsi after going to CBJ at MK.

Being a Pepsi preferal person myself I have had to sneak a can in once or twice to EPCOT, but that was before the bag checks, since the bag checks starts up my family and I stopped taking in coolers and whatnot; mostly because none of us wanted to carry the thing; thankfully none of the maids at any of the resorts have reported my Pepsi stash in the room yet!

for high volume, freestyle machines really are not feasable. they have their set lineup, and box syrup and carbo is much more efficient.
They require much more syrup maintenance, due to smaller capacity (though, the syrup is more concentrated, iirc)

But, certainly not as efficient as a back of the house BIB lined system using the 10 gallon boxes. Those can run for days even in high volume!

Universal seems to do just fine with Freestyle machines, just sayin. Wouldn't mind WDW replacing Quickserve machines with these or having the same type of drink program Universal has, especially for the free water.

No one will stop you from bringing in food or beverages including Pepsi. The only food and beverages they don't allow is anything in glass containers (baby food is an exception) and alcohol Of any kind. I personally let people walk in with McDonald's, Wendy's and even Burger King bags full of food when I was a park greeter.

The convo was about them in the cool spot.

I don't see Disney adopting anything close to Freestyle machines anytime soon. Especially after all the money they just spent for Rapidfill.

That said, the Freestyle machines, as far as the industry is concerned, is a fad.

It's already starting to fade away.

I'm not sure where your perspective is coming from but Freestyle machines are poping up everywhere. It's pretty rare for me to go to a fast food chain and not see one nowadays.

For some reason I remember bringing in McDonald's once to WDW; since then it was either Burger King or Subway
