Cookes of Dublin

As many times as I've been to DTD I've never eaten at Cookes of Dublin.

I'm a fan of Raglan Road, so I would assume Cookes of Dublin is pretty solid as well.

Has anyone eaten there? If so, whats good?

Yep,Good food,I think it's the same owners as RR.watched a cooking show on tv and one of the owners mentioned they own both.What's good?well there ain't nothing bad,we've had the fish & chips,the chicken & mushroom pie,beef & lamb pie,all very tasty but our favourite was the Fishermans pie,reminded me of a dish we done at our restaurant years ago called Seafood Mornay with a layer of mashed potato on top and grilled off.Yum,Yum. Yep it is pretty solid. There are a few changes to things like the fish n chips making them easier for quick service but it is still on of the better quick service places in DTD.

Anyone tried the deep fried candy bars? How are they? What are the options?

I love the fish and chips, but avoid the fried burger.
