Awesome!...However,..i am confused!

I am from the UK and we get CNBC live from the USA. So 8pm Eastern time means that it will air here in the UK at 1am....as we are 5 hours ahead of you guys.

However, just checked the listing now, and it is on at 9pm UK time...which is 4pm easter time...

How does this work? Perhaps we get a very edited version of CNBC in the UK

Seeing as the show just started this year. as well as 2000 being too early to call Iger CEO. That date is wrong.

This interview that airs tonight was taped a week ago. I haven't seen it, but I've read the transcripts, and it sounds like it was a really uncomfortable situation for Mr. Iger.

Eisner was being, shall we say, less than gracious and just a tad bratty (the necktie gag was just tacky). Mr. Iger handled it very, very well though and took the high road. :sohappy:

If anyone was having doubts that Eisner should have stuck around for another few years, watch this interview and I think it will help reinforce the idea that Eisner had overstayed his Disney welcome just a bit.

If you would the thread which was meant for this topic you would understand...
Transcripts or no transcript...

Um, was there a second Eisner interview with Bog Iger recently? I thought Eisner just did the one.

Eisner didn't overstay his welcome (although a case can be made by pointing at his no confidence vote)...he should've just bowed out a bit earlier than he did...probably before 2000....There should be term limits for CEOs...change is good for a company.

No worries, for now, the company is stronger than it has been in some time....even IF Steve Jobs is in the mix.

I watched the interview last night and I was majorly impressed. Eisner was very kind to his successor, Robert Iger. He even gave him his last Mickey Mouse tie!

I enjoyed watching this, but it puzzles me how Michael Eisner has his own show! It just seems odd for the former CEO of Disney hosting a show on CNBC.
