Contempory resort hosts beer tasting.

Good Morning,I've read that the Wave at Contempory are hosting beer tasting events on Saturday's for guests that are staying at the resort.I think that's a great idea for promoting beers that you've never tasted before,anyway my question is. Is there any members staying at the Contempory during this event?would love to hear their responses if they go along to the beer tasting.:wave:

Unless this is something new which they started doing, during my stays multiple stays at the Contemporary since The Wave opened they never had any Beer tastings and I was never told anything like that was happening on their information schedule everyone gets when they check-in.

I was just curious; never heard that myself and it would have been something to consider for previous stays.....:shrug:

Sounds similar to a mid-afternoon wine tasting event that I attended a couple of years ago, the Flying Fish hosted it for Boardwalk guests. Saw a notice in the DVC Community Hall at the BW, all we had to do was sign up and show up, it was free, and only three couples were in attendance. The general manager of the Flying Fish poured generous helpings of three different wines, a red, a white, and a fizzy one, and took us through tasting them.

Lovely experience, especially considering that it was a free treat. Unfortunately, I've never seen it repeated.

The beer tasting at the wave has been around since 2010 if I recall.
