Contemporary Tower Rehab

I personally LOVE the mural, and everytime my family and I stay at the Contemporary, we always see people stop and admire it (and usually ask questions about it). So maybe it doesn't HAVE to go if the main lobby is modernized a bit. Just my two cents...

What an Extreme Makeover! It looks like Ty Pennington has been turned loose in there. The new rooms look awesome and expensive! Such a major difference from the current style of rooms. The current rooms look so tacky and cheap compared to the new look. Good for them! I can see how the mural could stay with the new look. It doesn't go entirely, but not so out of place with new rooms.

I really hope they keep the mural, it's one of my first memories of WDW when I first visited in '71...

The CR has been rehab before. The Grand Canyon concourse changed but, the mural stayed. I hope it does this time as well. It's classic. The 5 legged goat! I just hope they don't change it too much. I love CR. I know they are working on some of the rooms and they look great. Flat screen tvs...what an awesome idea.
