Contemporary Theme Park View

We are splurging this Dec. with a tower/theme park view room. Our first trip to WDW in '99 was a club level theme park view room, and we haven't done it since. We aren't doing club level this time - can't justify the cost. My question is: is the view just as spectacular on the lower floors, or should I try to request a high floor? Thanks!

It's better the higher up you are. We were on the 11th floor this past trip and very pleased with the view, especially of the fireworks.

There is no question that the view does improve with height, but my last MK view at the Contemporary was on the 4th floor and I had zero complaints.

I think the views are better higher up.

I also think the water view is much prettier and more relaxing than the theme park/parking lot view. FWIW.

Just the view of the Magic Kingdom is pretty spectacular, but having the entire Seven Seas Lagoon panorama right from your balcony really puts it over the top.
