Contemporary Resort Top of the World sound system problem ??

So to start off, I viewed Wishes from the top of the contemporary, and remember being able to clearly hear the music from the speakers up there, I did this again Mid-September and could barely hear the music. Did it again the following week for Hallowishes, and don't remember any music getting pumped in up there.

Is this going to eventually be fixed, because I plan on visting one more time for HalloWishes, and visting a couple times for Holiday Wishes

(Hadn't seen this posted here so i thought I'd do it)

Between 9/25-10/2 I caught Wishes/Hallowishes 2 maybe 3 times from my 11th floor balcony and didn't hear any issues with the audio.

Is it still called "Top of the World"? I thought is was "California Grill". Audio worked fine when we visited and watched "Wishes" from outside walkway at California Grill. It sounds like it may be a new issue though. I hope it is resolved soon as we hope to visit over the holidays.

I see you gave us the time table but do you remember the exact dates? I'm only asking because there are videos on youtube of Wishes from MK's 40th from the Contem. and the audio is fine to me.

I've noticed the music sometimes doesn't kick in up there until a good few minutes (or more) into the show, same at the Poly beach (once watched Wishes synced to the soundtrack on my iPod. Cue the "you watch it too much when...jokes). I've not been up to the Contemporary as much as the beach, but I've noticed it most every time.

"Top of the World" is the former name of the restaurant at the top of the Contemporary and the current name of the lounge at the top of Bay Lake Tower.

Don't jump on the OP and say "it was fine when I was there" implying he was incorrect about there being a problem, because currently, if you pay attention, there are audio issues throughout all of WDW so it wouldn't surprise me if he was correct. They can't seem to just get their audio levels correct anymore... or just don't care enough to.

I tought you could go to California Grill for a drink at the bar and still be alowed to watch Wishes from there walkway.

I haven't been recently, its been a couple weeks since I've watched it up there, i thought id just report it.

And you can, either take the normal elavator up the highest it can, then go to the stairs outside the contemporary, and just go up. Or you can walk all those stairs up from the 4th floor.

Wow, chill out ! I re-read every post and here not 1 post appears to jump on the op or imply anything. My post and another simply stated no audio issue's heard at the time. Could there be issue's intermitently happening ? Absolutely. Nobody made a comment claiming Jakester was wrong in his statement.
