What time at night does the pool at the Contemporary close?

Is there still boat service between the Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge / Fort Wilderness?

I believe the main pools close at 10 or 11PM. Unfortunately there is no boat service from Contemporary to any other resorts or Magic Kingdom.

If you wish to travel from Contemporary to Wilderness Lodge/Fort Wilderness, take monorail or walking path to Magic Kingdom. Center boat dock at Magic Kingdom should be the one to those locations.

Only the Poly and Grand Guests can enjoy the return of the boats. A CM told us last week that the Contemporary boat cannot return because of Covid.

The most plausible reason I’ve read about the Bay Lake launch not returning is that they still need to recruit more boat pilots (?). The Covid closure resulted in many deciding to retire. This is the last route still not open, and I can see why it’s been the lowest priority.

Now that Hoop De Doo is back though I hope they can get these boats running again.

Just stayed at Bay Lake Tower 2 weeks ago, both the Bay Lake Tower and Contemporary feature pool closed at 11pm! Have a great trip

I believe the retirement thing. Some years ago we had a very young boat captain on our way back from Disney Springs. It was the end of the night and another young captain rode back on the same boat. Our captain said that he and his friend together lowered the average age of the Disney boat captain to 104.

On our many boat trips I cant remember ever having a boat pilot that wasnt a retiree who came to work for Disney after leaving their job.
