Construction...how bad is it?

I've heard/read a lot about how horrible the construction is right now and how there are walls everywhere. Is it an exaggeration? I know that there are a number of projects going on right now. We're leaving for our vacation in 43 days and I'm definitely not gonna' let some barriers and cranes ruin my trip. I just want to know so I can be prepared. Is it really that bad?

Just avoid driving down Buena Vista Drive near DTD. Thats not going to help your enjoyment level....

Here are a couple of photos from today. I wasn't trying to get shots of construction but it's pretty hard to shoot around. There are scrims around 3 of the 4 new turrets. There are green walls around the moats on both sides of the castle and closest walkways. The walkway on the left has a huge piece of scaffolding with scrims, you actually have to walk through it if you take that path. The entire walkway and bridge leading into the castle is completely covered with scaffolding and a gray scrim. The moat is also drained a little and water looks very murky.

From what I'm hearing though,
The castle construction should be done before NOJ & MNSSHP. So well before the OP trip! :)

That's good. It's really not too bad though, there's no traffic issues and as long as you get your photos back a little on Main Street you can get some decent shots.

Well... look out because at Hollywood studios... the walls are coming!
Otherwise, at the moment, it's not too bad.

But most of the walls at Animal Kingdom should be down before DHS is completely full of walls hopefully :) With Rivers of Light and Discovery Island finished by summer 2016 and there aren't many walls up for Pandora as it is out the way.

I imagine much of the MK work will be completed soon. Permits expire in November, I believe, and I also would think Disney would want the front of the castle ready for the MNSSHP Hocus Pocus show. As far as the other parks go, I'm pretty sure visitors should expect the sort of barriers they've encountered in the MK since 2014

ETA: I'm sorry for any redundancy, but I didn't read through all posts :)
