Man, there was a lot of overlapping and red herrings today. Glad I didn’t jump at my gut instinct first answers.
Things that could work in purple were also in others.
There’s a whole category for

Spoiler

The Powerpuff Girls

that was a trap
And one of the more difficult answers in blue is because it’s from the UK and not popular in the US.

I have to say one of the words in purple is simply incorrect and doesn't fit. I even looked it up, thinking maybe I was wrong, but nope. I thought about the category, but didn't guess it because there were only three words that fit.
