Connecting oceanview or balcony guarantee?

Trying to decide if we should upgrade to guaranteed balconies and leave our connecting oceanview cabins. The big difference is we pretty much would not have connecting rooms or maybe not even the same part of the ship, and it cost about $50 more per person. For those of you that have traveled with family (grandparents, parents, and two kids) what are your thoughts. Oh, we already have one kid in with grandparents and one with us (triples). We would have to keep it that way.

3 night on the Dream Dec 26. Thanks!

As its a three night the difference is very little, on longer cruises, and sightseeing cruises, ie Alaska or Panama a Verandah is a wonderful addition, on short cruises the benefit is less. So sitting on the fence on this one, -but we always book a Verandah!!

Hmmm. That's a tough one. I think I'd go with the verandahs if it's not much more. But the ocean views on the Dream are very nice!
