Bernie Williams became the seventh player in Yankees history to reach the 2,000-hit mark, reaching the milestone in the fourth inning of Thursday's game (June 10th 2004) against the Colorado Rockies. The 2,000 hits for Williams place him behind Lou Gehrig (2,721), Babe Ruth (2,518), Mickey Mantle (2,415), Joe DiMaggio (2,214), Don Mattingly (2,153) and Yogi Berra (2,148) on the team's all-time list.
