I have been wondering this for quite some time and was hoping someone could clear this up for me. Can anyone tell me what "dh" and "dd" stand for? Just by reading I think it means daughter and husband but maybe I am way off. Thanks :p

Well in most cases people don't think their in laws are dear. I on the other hand am pretty lucky in which I get along with them pretty well. :ROFLOL:

Thanks for clearing this up for me. I kept thinking like darling daughter and was like no that can't be right. At least I was on the right track though.

I was just talking about this the other day with a group of people. I have thought for years that DD stood for Disney daughter, and the DS stood for Disney son, etc. Basically I thought the D stood for Disney....ha. I just thought we were all that obsessed! :)

Apparently someone else had heard that before too, so I wasn't completely alone.

It is also, for some reason, a pet peeve for mine

When people refer to their family members as DD7 or DH, for some reason it just annoys me to no end.

I have no idea why, but it just does.
