Confused over $5.80

So... glad to see that 2011 Rates and Packages are finally available.. I decided to update my spreadsheet.

HOWEVER, After calculating Hotel Tax and Sales Tax and everything, I'm missing $5.80 from MY total compared to the DisneyWorld Website total...

Can Anyone help me out?

I have Hotel at $619 for 7 Nights (1/5-1/12) before tax, and $696 after tax (again according to the DisneyWorld site)

Park Hoppers at $641.14 for 2 7-Day Hoppers, again, after tax according to the Disney World Site.

Roundtrip from EWR-MCO - JetBlue - $394.80 ( according to WDW, and JetBlue site, all taxes and fees included.)

Add everything up and I get $1731.94 ...

Add everything up on the WDW site, I get $1737.74...

What the ......

WHERE'S THAT EXTRA $5.80 COMING FROM?! :shrug::shrug: :brick::brick:

Is the second figure provided by WDW, or did you calculate the tax yourself? If the latter, you might have used the wrong tax rate, because your hotel might be in a different county, with a different tax rate than the park passes.

The 1737.74 is what I get from the Disney World site.

I used the "Hotels only" option and "Tickets Only" option to find out the correct tax on the rooms.

So as I said the $696 and the $641.14 are DIRECT from the Disney World site AFTER tax.

You don't state what hotel you're staying in. If you're staying in Pop Century, they're in a different county and have a slightly higher tax rate than the rest of the hotels, which could be what is making the rates different.

Room only pricing + ticket only pricing DOES NOT ALWAYS MATCH Magic Your Way Package Pricing with the same room and tickets.

I believe the usually slight difference may be paying for the package extras...

My apologies. It is POP. :brick:

But as I said when I do room only and ticket only, everything comes out straight except for $5.80 ..

Unless as DisneyJoe stated, they charge an extra $2.90 a person for the package extras such as PH Voucher and such.
