Confirmed dates of Boardwalk Inn room renovations

[Innkeeper's Club]

From the AllEars Newsletter:

The Boardwalk Inn will undergo a room refurbishment from approximately May 4 through September 9. All guest rooms will get new carpets, new tubs, and new bed linens. The Innkeeper's Lounge (Concierge club level) will have some upgrades as well.

I'm going to assume the first set of rooms to be done is their Club Level rooms, because the begining date of the renovations is when the Innkeeper's Club Level lounge is set to also close for a refurbishment. So that's the reason why a temporary lounge was not going to be used, like the Beach Club recently did when they moved everything into their Presidental Suite.

Also I have a Club Level reservation for the Boardwalk Inn on August 18, 2014 and had no problems making it, where as some people couldn't get a Club Level reservation for the month of May 2014 since the lounge was already planning on closing prior to the news of the room renovations.

I love Boardwalk Inn. It is my favorite resort.

I was wondering, are there any renovation plans for BWV?

Awesome! My trip is at the end of September at the Boardwalk so I'm excited! Maybe I'll get the new room smell.
