Saw this on facebook and thought it was a good idea. I do like the garland idea as well though.

I driven all the way home, stopped at the grocery store to pick up milk, etc., unpacked and then headed to the shower when I realized I still had my blinged out band on. No wonder the cashier at the check out stand gave me a weird look when I stretched out my arm to hand him my payment....

However, I do plan on wearing my Luke Skywalker band along with all my other Star Wars gear to the midnight showing on December 17th. :)

Funny story. One of the attorneys at work went to the world in July and I've been asking him to bring in his magic band almost daily so I could see one "live" instead of just in pictures. On August 27th he promised he would not forget to bring it on the next day, but I had to remind him that I was having surgery the next day and would be out for two weeks. Guess I'll just wait till we get our own Magic Bands for our trip in December!!

Who continues to wear their Magic Band AFTER the vacation ends and for how long?

We left Disney on Saturday morning and I have yet to remove mine...still considering what I will do for work tomorrow. On the way home I had an older gentlemen approach me at an Applebee's in West Virginia and ask if we were just returning from Disney as they had seen the Band.

My family does make fun of me but maybe I am just the bigger fan!

do you also wear your hospital ID armband after you leave the hospital?

Well my first one should be coming in the mail in a few weeks. That might go on my wrist as soon as I rip open the box and slap it on like a handcuff. I'll be be trying to access my house doors and get things around me to activate until I get to POFQ in Nov. when I'll really put it to work. ( I'm sure I'll be driving DW crazy...:p:p )

Last year, I left it on for a week or two after leaving, switching between my 3 colors every couple of days.
I still pop it on for a day or two when I need a dose of "Magic".

With all the bizarre things people wear on their wrists and necks these days, not to mention the utterly ridiculous things they tattoo on themselves, is it really that odd to be wearing a Magic Band outside WDW?
