Condo Information...HELP!!

We have to make our condo reservation--SOON! Has anyone ever stayed at Westgate Vacation Villas? I checked Tripadvisor and they have some pretty bad reviews, and some good ones. I nee any infromation I can get!!

We stayed at the Westgate off by WDW,they were really quite nice, I think the ones on the I-4 are different.

I stayed at the Westgate Villas off of Sand Lake Rd (near I-4) last year.
Overall it was ok. It was about a 15-20 minute drive to the parks.

The one we are looking at says it is on Lake Seagull....the price is right and I believe we are going to book it!

Westgate has a bad reputation of being a "sleezy" timeshare company that uses high-pressure tactics to get people to buy. I am not sure how valid that reputation is, but I personally have never heard anything great about any of the properties.

I too have read some things about the timeshare thing....but we are renting a unit through some Military thing and it SPECIFICALLY says that we DO NOT have to attend any presentation and if they try to get us to, I will hand them my copy of the paperwork and if THAT doesn't work, my husband will take care of it from there!
