Conceirge and Dining Question

I was wondering,

In the past, I have always depended on the Concierge people to make my dining reservations when I go to WDW, but with the restaurants being so busy because of the free dining, will I still be able to get reservations?
If not, perhaps I should think twice about staying on a Concierge level.
Whats the point of having Conceirge service if they can't get you a seat in a Restaurant?

Has anyone who has stayed at a Conceirge level recently had problems with this?

With the exception of Cinderellas Royal Table, I have never had an issue with getting a Reservation when staying Concierge.

All sources of dine reservation agents (Disney Dining, Lobby Concierge, Club Level Concierge, Restaurant Podiums, Guest Relations, etc.) uses the same DRS software to book dinning, and sees the same availability. Concierge Vacation Planners do not have the ability to create tables if a location is sold out. It is always advised to book your dining as far in advance as possible (up to 180 days in advance.)

We just returned (9/17-9/24). Stayed at the GF concierge. We had the itinerary planner for the platinum plan make all our reservations ahead of time some within 60 days some 90. We got everything we wanted, but I would never chance it. Have them make them for you now or call yourself. Incidentally, we did get a Cinerella castle breakfast reservation but not when I originally called. Our planner told us it was booked but one week prior to the day you want tables are opened up for platinum planners and lo and behold she secured us a reservation just as promised.
