go to http://mozilla.org and download mozilla firefox... that will help fix popups....

Unless it is system problems... then get spybot... (dont know where that is..) and it will remove the spyware/ad-ware....

Try these to see if it helps...

ohh i have google toolbar and that helps prevent pop ups
my problem was when you WANTED a new window to open, the old one would close by itself
i have no idea why that was...but i uninstalled yahoo toolbar (i dont know where that came from in the first place) and its all better now

thanks

I think when you install an upgrade to Shockwave (needed to view some websites) it will try and sneak that toolbar on if you don't pay attention and de-select it. That may be where it came from. Anyway - at least the problem has gone.

Step away from the Windows computer! Buy an Apple computer. *whew* That was a close one!

Of course, since I know you're keeping the Windows computer, Firefox is your new best friend. :)

Apple os X is ok...but their machines which are hard to upgrade are expensive....

If i won the lottery.. i would one I-mac.. one E-mac, 2 Win XP or which ever is newer and out machines... and 2 linux boxes (probably Red hat)... and a network running in my home conneting them all together...

However that will never happen....

Continue thread at it's normal programing....

How can anyone not like apple... unless it ait their homework...

Your fan's not working properly. This is a BIG problem. If your fan fails to work, your pc is not capable of keeping cool and could over heat.

You need to get the part replaced...STAT.

Well...if your computer gets too hot, it should shut off automatically (i.e. the power will just cut off). Thus, you can probably still use it slightly.

I just think you need to get the park fixed soon. The sooner the better.
