Computer question

Ok sooo I was going to take my computer with me, buuuut my brother was telling me something about how there isn't room for some card that makes it wireless internet capable....so does that mean it wouldn't work at all in the apartments? Ah I'm confused haha. Thanks!

It depends. Do you have a laptop or a desktop? If you have a Laptop they make PC cards that have a small antenia that stick out of the side in the PC card slot. If you have a desktop netgear makes a wireless 10/100 device that anyone can put into the tower. I just put one in on my moms computer so we could get dsl at home. YOu best bet is to get a USB wireless device. These are external and plug right into the USB port in front of the PC. A Linksys model would work. Then follow the basic instructions that tells you how to install the CD that comes in the box.
