Trip Report **COMPLETED** The Tale of Two Trips (finally moving on from the PTR)

Hello everyone!!! I'm sorry for the long delay, but I am finally starting my TR :) I apologize in advance for the insane amount of pictures :) I got a new camera and took over 3000 pictures and videos! If you did not read my PTR I went on two trips in the span of a few weeks...hence the title :) I will split them in two but keep it all in the same thread. Also, I have a lot of last minute residency requirements to navigate through the next few weeks or so so I'm sorry if this takes me forever! Anyway, enough of me rambling - let's begin!

First trip!

Where?
First time staying an entire trip here...the Polynesian!

Why?
I had to take an exam in Kissimmee on the 14th and I got the whole week off from work to go :) My Mom and sister came along for the ride.

Day 3 continued
I wrote down I changed our dinner reservation, but I am not sure if I moved it earlier or later :)

When walking into the MK I noticed the Easter Bunny and Mrs. Bunny were out with like no wait. The wait was so short I had to ask a CM if they were still meeting guests and she said of course!

We shopped a bit after this then headed towards Tomorrowland. Our go to ride (the Peoplemover), however, had too long of a wait so we wandered around and checked out the famous purple wall. Why is this a thing? :D

Soon enough it was time to check into the Crystal Palace. The poor CM who was checking people in was begging her follow CM to swap with her because she was so hot standing outside :oops:
We were seated fairly quickly :)

No offense to Piglet, but he is my least favorite Pooh and friends character. My Mom said very loudly when Piglet showed up "Look its your favorite" :eek::eek::D:D

We enjoyed the characters at CP, but both felt like the food was pretty meh aside from the kids stuff so we both decided we would not be back for dinner at Crystal Palace. In general, we both felt like we are over character meals until we come back with my nephew :)

After dinner we did a bit of shopping before heading to our next FP

Finally it was time for our FP!

Haunted Mansion!
I sent this picture to Jill since all three of us squeezed on by accident last trip :) At least it was legal ;)

We actually got stuck on this ride for about 5 minutes...

After this I made a Fast Pass for Buzz so we headed there. I was SOOOO close to Galactic Hero but then the ride shut down (shockingly...this was the theme of the day) and the scores reset :cry::cry:
We also got stuck on the Peoplemover after this :arghh:
I was able to pick up another FP but we had a bit of time so we checked out C of P again :)

Considering how crowded the MK was I was still able to pick up FPs if I played with the app for a minute. At some point the app said all FPs had been disturbed for ALL the rides in MK but a quick refresh begged to differ :)
We decided on a M and G that we have never done before...Tiana!

After our ride we headed towards Main Street for Wishes. We didn't realize the new castle projection show was after Wishes now so we just sat on the street waiting and people watching :)

We just try to eat at off times which usually helps :) Oddly enough even though it was so crowded reservation and FP times were generally very easy to change and pick up. I'm not sure if Spring Break was full of people who weren't 100% familiar with the app :)

Man, I was already crying through Wishes...and it was only Monday :cry:
After Wishes we left and headed towards the boat dock. The boat came super quickly and were were entertained by a Dad and son in front of us saying everything in Roz's voice from Monsters Inc. The Mom was getting a little annoyed, but we told her my Dad does the same thing and she laughed at that :)
The weather was beautiful and we knew we wouldn't have to get up super early the next day so we decided it was a good time to check out Geyser Point. I ran upstairs to grab us some bug spray (nobody wants Zika) and we headed over. It was actually pretty dead there which was kind of odd :)
For drinks I ordered the Huckleberry Punch

The bartender was kind enough to take our picture :)

There was a guy with his son next to us who's wife kicked him out of the room because she did not want to watch basketball (it was the March Maddness final) :p. We swapped seats with him and his son so they could have a better view of the game since college basketball isn't really my number one sport :)
The drinks were really great and we enjoyed our time at Geyser Point but off to bed it was after this :)

The bunnies at Disney World are the only ones that I've seen that aren't SUPER creepy looking. It was like watching a horror film seeing everyone posting their mall Easter bunny photos. :eek:

I think a bunch of popular instagrammers started doing it and it just caught on. I have to admit, it's a pretty color for a photo background!

That would be why I was confused! I didn't realize the projection show was after Wishes now. Sad I missed it.

I agree the bunnies are still a bit creepy but way less so than usual bunnies :)
I agree the purple wall color is pretty....I just think its funny that people follow other people so easily :)
You will enjoy Geyser Point! Hopefully once the WL is back to full operation it won't be super crowded

Hm...they look like perogis so they must be...I dont remember anything exciting about them though/remember them in general :joyfull:
