Trip Report **COMPLETE** 'Tried the grey stuff it's delicious... don't believe us ask the dishes!!!

Welcome to our first trip report! I've loved reading through lots of fantastic trip reports on here, the pictures and stories got me very excited for my recent trip to Orlando so I figured it would be the perfect opportunity for me to write my very own. First a little background information, I’m Karen (25) from Dublin in Ireland and had my first trip to Orlando at the age of 9 and have since been hooked! I've been a grand total of 6 times including the most recent trip (not nearly enough!). Myself and my sister Rachel (20) read tonnes of trip reports, drooled over all over the Disney treats, researched the magic band system like crazy and planned the out the holiday in advance. Our trip involved 3 completely different types of accommodation, we stayed in a villa in Kissimmee for the first 6 days, Art of Animation at Disney World for 2 nights and finally the Quality Inn Suites on International Drive (at the junction of Sand Lake road).

A relative of ours had booked the house as part of a round the world trip so our accommodation there was free, he won’t feature much in our trip report but when he does we will refer to him as Grumpy. My boyfriend, who shall be known as Sleepy for the duration of our TR, also joined us on the trip for 10days.

We walked behind last float around towards BTM..

I think this parade is a cool idea but I just feel like it could be better... It goes by very slow and I was kinda bored by the end, maybe some more characters that are walking around instead of just on the floats??

Time for the WILDEST RIDE IN THE WILDERNESS...

So cool at night when you can see the castle and new fantasyland lit up...

We scooted back round through the hub and over to future world grabbing this picture along the way

Next up was Buzz Lightyear which was pretty much a walk on.... YAH for EMH!

I had a quick go of the etch a sketch on the way past...

Ok... Ok.. it's always like that... I'm just kidding

Time for another ride on Space Mountain... this time Rachel suffered an EPIC FAIL on the ride pose

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA we had a right giggle at this one!

When we got off we walked around for a bit and decided to check out the nicest bathrooms in all of Disney....

The theming here is just awesome.. I love the laterns they are so pretty and really remind me of the tangled movie....

Of course my heart still belongs to Beauty and the Beast so next was Gastons Tavern

It was really hard to get a good picture of the fountain at night... I wish I was more 'down with the cool kids' when it came to photography.. I've been considering a course and my Dad has quite a good Nikon that he bought in America about 3years ago so I could try it out.. for now though I'm sticking with my point and shoot

We decided to ride the new Ariel ride again seen as there was zero wait

Well this is pretty blury but it's the entrance to Ariel's Grotto, I mean the sign says that but I just thought I'd tell you anyway...

Next we ventured into Storybook Circus

We ventured into Big Top Souvenirs...

Rachel fell in love with this bag but didn't buy it

It was only then that we found the character spot in this area... Goofy, Donald, Minnie and Daisy!!!!

It was too late to meet them now so I was bummed because Sleepy wouldn't be coming back

I think he minded too much though and I'd say I was bummed for all of 5 secs then remember I was in DISNEY

Our long day was catching up on us so we decided to head towards the exit, I think it was about 12.30AM at this stage..

Of course we stopped for some photos on the way out...

One of the photopass photographers' camera wasn't working so she took a picture with mine, I think it turned out lovely

We met a really charismatic photopass photographer right at the last spot before the exit

She was happy that we wanted to get a fun photo too

We had to get the boat back as the monorail wasn't running anymore but we didn't mind at all...

Love your description of the castle show, cannot believe I haven't managed to see it, I've been four times to WDW since it started and have yet to see that show. Useless, so I am!!

Your photo of all the phones taking pics of Wishes is just brilliant.

Finally did Enchanted Tales last month when I took my mum for her birthday, what a great show. I wasn't trying to get in it, mind you, but you're right there aren't a lot of roles for the "big kids". I loved when they did the Be Our Guest bit and handed out dishes and knives and forks and such to any little one who hadn't got a proper role and they all marched around.

After I'd purchased the camera earlier in the holiday I LOVED taking photos so I've got tonnes, I think some people watch the entire show via iphone which just can't be as enjoyable!

We only did it once during our trip, I wasn't at all interested in being a part of the show until I realised at the end that only the people who took park can get a photo with Belle and I really wanted one with her in her gold gown.

Ye the kids marching around was a cute touch, plus they were signing my favourite song

Day 9 - Epcot & Hollywood Studios

Today was the day we had to move out of our new home at Disney... Two nights was no where near enough... We never got to explore and take more photos as planned, I really wanted some of the cars section but it just never happened..... Don't worry though, it's on the list!

We checked out and left our luggage in storage before heading to Epcot...

Our first ride of the day was Test Track... I have no idea what was going on in this ride photo.. Rachel's being attacked by her hair, I look rather grumpy and Sleepy looks like he just got splashes with water or something!

Our car did pretty good and was almost onto the leader board for the day but we just missed out

Next up was mission space.. I decided to go with the green option because I get really bad motion sickness, sometimes I'm fine but when I get it bad it can throw me off for the whole day so it wasn't worth the risk!

I've no idea where I took this photo but I imagine it was in the holding area before you ride

We also rode Spaceship Earth but I don't have any photos

Next we hopped on a boat over to the World Showcase...

You can really see the reflection of the inside of the boat on this one...

Having been to Tokyo in 2013 as well I was impressed with Japan, it really reminded me of being there and highlights how details the different countries are

Belle was meeting in France, she had a long wait so I stepped in the queue and Rachel and Sleepy went off to the bakery for some treats... The line went really quick though so I ended up meeting her by myself

Luckily when they came back the queue wasn't so big so we hopped right in...

We headed to the Morocco pavilion next....

I really wanted to meet Aladdin and Jasmine and they were due to meet in about 20mins so we decided to stick around....

The shops in this pavilion are so pretty with some really unique items...

We went through to their meeting room and took some photos while we waited for them to arrive.

As a kid Aladdin was my second favourite movie (if you don't know first you obviously haven't read the rest of this TR and you DON'T DESERVE TO KNOW )

This was one of my favourite locations for a character spot, I really like Mickey in the Town Square too

So there was some photopass drama The photographer couldn't get his camera working but he took mine and got some nice photos anyway so no harm done!

We had a good chat before posing! We were discussing our posing strategy...

We decided to go with one that Aladdin suggested

After our Arabian adventure we continued exploring...

A fountain

People sitting on pretty things kinda ruins them a bit, it's like I want to look and then and be immersed in the country and feel like I'm THERE but then someone sits on my fountain and pulls out their park map and I'm snapped back to reality... but then I'm in a Disney park so hey it's not so bad

Off to Japan...

Japan is so beautiful...

Sleepy picked up a Japenese beer called Kirin, I'd had it loads when I was in Tokyo, they serve it in much bigger glasses over there though! It's quite a light beer so it's refreshing enough to have when it's hot out.

This guy was pretty cool, we watched him for a bit, I find mimes can be really funny or just horribly bad but luckily this guy was good!

Our next stop was Germany... I love the miniature village here...

Snow White was meeting so we got in line

We were feeling peckish and decided to grab something quick in China..

I wasn't a massive fan so I doubt we'll be going back anytime soon...

We popped in to reflections of China next and explored while we waited for the theatre to open

The show is fantastic, it fully immerses you in the surroundings and everytime I see it I want to jump on a plane to China (after I finish my Disney adventures of course).

The bar here is pretty cool

We left the park afterwards and headed to Hollywood Studios for our next adventure!

Our first stop in park number two was..

TOY STORY MANIA... thanks to our fastpass plus of course....

Then onto the Great Movie Ride
